Thanks for this recipe! Made it yesterday for our Thanksgiving meal hoping it would appeal to the kids more than the lentil loaf I tried last year. I thought they turned out pretty well, but the kids (11 and 14) found them underwhelming – I think just a bit unexciting and dry, which leads me to this: it’s all about the sauces! We just had ketchup, ranch dressing, and some jars of plum sauce and hoisin sauce. If I do these again, I’ll focus as much on the dipping options as on the nuggets: maybe a peanut sauce, a cheese or cheese-like sauce, a pizza/tomato sauce, and/or some kind of aioli?

This recipe was fantastic! Thanks for the share! What do you think about using black beans to make something like sliders? I have so much aquaphaba because I cook my beans from dry, but always more black beans than chickpeas. Actually, I’m probably just gonna try it anyway and report back with results. Lol

In reply to Lyn Denton. Hi Lyn! Apologies for the delay. The temperature can be found in the recipe card at the bottom of the post. These chickpea nuggets are best baked at 425F or 220C. At 200C they'll need a little extra time to crisp up. Hope you enjoyed them!
